At Garden Valley Veterinary Hospital, our Windsor veterinarian is committed to providing the compassionate, quality care your pet deserves. Our very own Dr. Kloer and Touran have years of experience in serving the Windsor area and treating a variety of pets, including not just dogs and cats, but rabbits, reptiles, pocket pets, birds, and more. We believe in maintaining a welcoming, stress-free environment for your pets and provide a wide range of veterinary services to suit your pets' needs.
Below is a sampling of some of the most common services our veterinary team provides on a daily basis.
Preventative care is our most common service provided, which includes our comprehensive wellness exams. We generally recommend pets be brought in for wellness exams at least once a year, as this allows us to stay on top of any changes in your pet's health and perform an in-depth evaluation of your pet's overall health and wellness. As part of our routine and preventative care services, we can also administer vaccinations here in our office as well as flea, tick, and other parasite prevention medications.
Our experienced veterinary team is also able to assist with emergency and urgent care during our office hours, and we have at least one veterinarian on-duty six days a week for your convenience. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency during our regular hours, we simply ask that you give us a call before coming in so that we can ensure staff is available to assist your pet immediately once you arrive. Some of the most common emergencies we handle in our office include accidental toxin ingestion, heat stroke, trouble breathing, and serious injuries (such as those from being struck by a car).
Your pet's oral health is an important component of his or her overall physical health, so we recommend having a dental exam and cleaning done on most pets once a year. We can perform a number of dental procedures for your pet here in our office, including routine exams, extractions, and even cavity fillings.
If your pet is in pain due to a chronic disease or illness, talk to our vet about our animal acupuncture services. This drug-free and minimally invasive treatment can provide relief from pain and other symptoms without the risks that come along with more invasive procedures or medications. Specifically, acupuncture focuses on the use of small, thin needles that are inserted into "trigger points" throughout the body to relieve pain and promote natural healing.
Traveling and need someone to watch your pet while you're away? We offer boarding services for both cats and dogs! This is a great option for those who want to make sure their pets are being watched by experienced and skilled professionals. Plus, for your added peace of mind, your pet is never far from our veterinary care if needed during their stay. We invite you to stop in and take a tour of our excellent boarding facilities during our regular operating hours!

This is a quality veterinary hospital and boarding facility. It is nice to board at a relatively small facility where the staff actually get to know your pets.
