Dr. Emily Romanko
Associate Veterinarian
Originally from the Bay Area in California, Dr. Emily Romanko recalls attending her brother’s soccer games and petting everyone’s dogs—instead of cheering him on (sorry Alex!). After earning a bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of California-Davis, she moved to Colorado and obtained her DVM from Colorado State University.
Initially, Dr. Romanko intended to return to California, but she fell in love with Colorado and has since made it her home. She is passionate about soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventive medicine, and building lasting relationships with her clients and patients.
When she’s not working, Dr. Romanko serves as an on-call vet for her beagle nieces, JoJo and Ella—both cheeky canines who get into lots of trouble! She is also fond of exploring Colorado with her husband Phil and best friend Bernie, and spending time with her own fur family which includes four rats (Pippa, Templeton, Clover, Begonia), three cats (Grace, Frankie, Medli) and a dog named Archer.
